Newmont Lake

Newmont Lake – Our Flagship Project in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle

The 688km² Newmont Lake Property contains at least four large, distinct mineralized systems. The project’s geology, mineralization styles, exploration results and proximity align with some of the richest known deposits in the Golden Triangle.

  • Hosts multiple mineralized systems across 688km² – key areas of focus: Andrei, Burgundy, McLymont, Chachi and Twin.
  • Geology, mineralization, results and proximity align with some of the richest known deposits of the Golden Triangle.
  • Early exploration at Burgundy has produced exceptional drill results.
  • Sampling, mapping and geophysics have resulted in large areas of highly-prospective showings.

The Golden Triangle – One of the World’s Richest Mineral Regions

The Golden Triangle of northwest British Columbia is a richly mineralized, world-class mineral district hosting several successful mines. This region, with rapidly-expanding mining infrastructure (see map and discussion below), hosts some of BC’s most successful historical/present-day mines and mineral projects.

  • A focus for the major mining companies – with significant recent M&A.
  • $4.5 Billion in government and Company Infrastructure Investments.
  • Tahltan Nation – Pro business, pro mining, supportive partners.

Galore Creek

The Galore Creek deposits are some of the largest undeveloped copper-gold-silver porphyry deposits in the world. 50/50 Joint Venture between Teck and Newmont.

Red Chris

70% interest acquired by Newcrest in 2019 for $807 million USD. Now operated by Newmont. The mine produces copper, gold and silver from an open pit with a large-scale underground block cave expansion currently being studied.

Brucejack

One of the highest-grade operating Au mines in the world, operated by Newmont.

Eskay Creek

Highest grade gold mine in the world when in production. Currently being redeveloped by Skeena Gold & Silver with expected 2027 startup.

KSM

One of the world’s largest undeveloped gold projects as measured by reserves and resources. An updated PFS estimates proven and probable reserves totalling 47.3 million ounces of gold and 7.3 billion pounds of copper.

Snip

Past producing underground mine that produced 1.1 million ounces of gold between 1991-1999 at an average grade of 27.5 g/t.

Investment Highlights

Newmont Lake represents one of the largest contiguous land packages (688km²) in the heart of the Golden Triangle.  The property is still largely untouched by modern exploration and offers district scale potential.

  • Porphyry discovery at Burgundy Ridge – 2021 discovery hole intersected 331m of 0.35 gpt Au & 0.29% Cu from surface.
  • High grade gold discovery at McLymont – 2024 drilling included 10.01 g/t Au over 12.45m within historical resource.
  • 2025 exploration program ongoing – airborne magnetic geophysics and ground IP to target a 2026 maiden drill program on the Andrei Target.
  • Proximity to recent infrastructure investments and discoveries in the region.
  • Exploration strategy designed to attract interest from major mining companies.

Over $4 billion invested in infrastructure

  • Highway 37 paved north from Smithers.
  • New 287 kV powerline to Red Chris mine.
  • 303 MWatts of clean hydroelectric power at property edge.
  • Year-round deep water ocean port in Stewart, BC.
  • Development access potential from Galore Creek and Eskay Creek mine roads.
